3 Hidden Reggae gems

Id like to take some time to shine a light on three unsung heroes of Dancehall, personal favorites of mine that haven't really got the recognition they deserve:

1: Quench Aid

A sweet 90s singer named after a low budget version of kool-aid, Quench aid has a unique voice and style. His most known tune is "Beat down the fence", a staple soundboy-tune, and he is probably most known to soundboys as he has never to my knowledge released any albums. Here he is voicing a dubplate for Stereomix sound:

2: Super Morris

Granted, he sounds a lot like one of my other favorite artists; Pinchers, and indeed they had somewhat of a beef back in the 90s as I remember it, but I think Super Morris have got a few merits of his own, check out his "Danger Zone" tune if you can find it. Here he is performing his "Hit Bound" longside another Supercat clone, Apachy Scratchie:

3: Mikey Melody

Nicknamed "Bumper" for some reason, this is another saccharine singer, who although he is a favorite of Digireggae nerds all over the blogosphere, cannot be said to have had much of a career outside of Jamaica (again: to my knowledge). Tunes like "King Hi-fi" and "Jumbo" can be requested anytime Concrete Steppa is playing, I cant promise to play them but you will definately impress me with your extensive knowledge of obscure reggae singers. This is his first hit, "Mona Lisa"

Choppa, insurrectional music maestro.
